I am currently reading "Out On A Limb" by Shirley MacLaine. It was published in 1983 and indicates that she was 'way ahead of many other authors on the subject of personal evolution.

OPRAH
As I renew my subscription to O, the Oprah Magazine, I am reminded of Oprah's all-time top 10 "What I Know for Sure" comments.
Here they are in her own words:
1. What you put out comes back all the time, no matter what.
2. You define your own life. Don't let other people write your script.
3. Whatever someone did to you in the past has no power over the present. Only you give it power.
4.When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.
5. Worrying is wasted time. Use the same energy for doing something about whatever worries you.
6. What you believe has more power than what you dream, wish, or hope for.
You become what you believe.
7. If the only prayer you ever say is "thank you," that will be enough.
8.The happiness you feel is in direct proportion to the love you give.
9. Failure is a signpost to turn you in another direction.
10. If you make a choice that goes against what everyone else thinks, the world will not fall apart.

WONDERFUL WORKSHOP
I recently attended a workshop conducted by Esther and Jerry Hicks. It was a wonderful presentation.
Preferable to my attempt at describing the experience, if you are curious, just go to their website:

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO............
As you can see, I have not written a post since last month.
First, I want to wish you a year of joy in 2010.
Now I would like to pose a question for you:
If you did not need to work for a living, what would you like to do with all of the available time?
I would love to hear your comments in the comment section below. Whenever I have posed this question, the answers have been interesting. You might like to read some of the answers in the next few days.
If I did not need to work for a living, I would like to spend my time........

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ?
As you know, I am a fan of Neale Donald Walsch's books.
http://www.nealedonaldwalsch.com/
In one of his daily emails, he says that "Why is this happening?" is the most useless question in the Universe.
Instead, a good question is: What? As in "what do I choose now?"
Next time your first re-action to an event is "Why" ............ change your response to "What" ......... as in "what do I choose now."

FEAR
"Fear is one of the Main Sources of Cruelty. To conquer Fear is the Beginning of Wisdom"
Bertrand Russell said that.
I have a question for you: What is the first thing that comes to mind when you say the word 'fear'?
I invite you to click on comment and write about it.
